Our territory shows up with a diversity of landscape as well as a diversity of species which can not be found that often on our beautiful but small planet. It stretches from the Coast Mountains in the West and South till the Fraser River in the East. A part of our landscape is dominated by tumular forests with meadows, lakes and rivers. Forests can be thick and like impenetrable jungle. At higher placed locations the forest is way more open and allows a better view. A huge portion of our territory is grassland, a habitat which almost disappeared from our planet. The Chilcotin Plateau in the North is grassland offering an enoreous naturally width.
In fact parts of Provincial Parcs as well as of Protected Areas belong to our territory. The parks help protect portions of this land from outside influences. That stands in good stead with our idea of keeping flora and fauna as pristine as possible.
The continental climate is fostering a distinct change of seasons. Summer is pretty dry and warm thus in the forests pines and firs are endemic. Winter is cold and rich in snow. The annual amount of precipitation is about 450 mm. The region is between 800 and almost 3.000 meter above sea level.
